The activity, both in home delivery and in self-service, is carried out on a self-employed contract basis.
The amount of remuneration in home delivery depends on the number of copies and the delivery area, in self-service on the number of devices and the size of the serviced area, as well as on the individually agreed rates per delivery / self-service area.
The daily delivery takes between 1.5 and 4 hours, depending on the delivery area, the quantity, and the efficiency of the delivery.
The delivery of newspapers takes place from Monday to Saturday until 06:00 and on Sundays and public holidays until 07:00. Self-service devices must also be installed by 07:00.
The delivery activity does not have to be carried out personally. Representatives, subcontractors, or assistants can be hired at your own expense.
As a delivery partner, you must register yourself with the commercial social insurance (SVA) and handle the taxes independently.
It is possible to work for other companies or newspaper publishers in addition to the delivery activity for PDW. This does not need to be reported to PDW.
All necessary operating resources, such as a car or mobile phone, must be provided at your own expense.
